Einstein’s Admission Process
The Process has been carefully designed to allow administration an opportunity to evaluate each student’s prospects for success.
It also allows parents and students an opportunity to evaluate The Einstein School at each stage of the process.
Selection of students is based on parental, student, and family interviews.
Prior high achievement does not automatically assure an applicant of a positive admission decision, nor will previous academic disappointments necessarily result in a negative outcome. At The Einstein School, we want to make sure that everyone involved believes the school is the right fit for the students.
We can schedule a phone consultation when you are ready to discuss attending The Einstein School or answer any questions you may have.
After the phone consultation, we like to invite the parents and student to come in for a tour in order to see if we would be a good fit. It is up to you whether you come separately or together, or both.
Most students feel more comfortable asking questions without their parents around!
If everyone still feels that The Einstein School is a fit, we will have IQ and achievement testing administered to make sure classes and schedules work for each student’s success.
Every potential student has the option to also spend a day or two at the school auditing classes to get a better idea of what actually attending The Einstein School would be like. If everything is golden, we make a Comprehensive Education Matrix for our new student and voila!
As part of The Einstein School’s devotion to equality in education, you will notice that the Preliminary Admission Application does not include questions that would identify the race, gender, or ethnic background of the applicant. Each student is to be admitted on the basis of their academic qualifications.
The Einstein School is committed to equal opportunity for all students, employees, and applicants without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, status in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
The Einstein School offers academic excellence and life-long learning.
Students, grades 5 – 12, receive a well-rounded educational experience, becoming independent thinkers well prepared for college education. We offer small class sizes with dedicated attention from teachers and mentors. Strong connections are established in a nurturing, yet energetic environment.
