Strategy Game Club

World Building and Fun!

When was the last time you spent a few hours helping the ancient Romans conquer the Italian Peninsula? Can you keep your cool while under attack and help save your adventuring party? In the Strategy Game Club you can!

Friday evenings, during the 3rd and 4th quarter, The Einstein School hosts a unique opportunity for students to gather and participate in games of strategy and fun. It is a social as well as an intellectual club that fosters creative minds.

Besides traditional Chess, the Strategy Game Club members play games that have been around for over thirty years, and which have received awards for innovation in education. One award winning game is Civilization. Students must plan ahead and spend resources wisely in order for their nation to grow. Students will build cognitive thinking and critical problem solving skills while having fun with their friends.

Although we meet every other Friday, some of the games carry over to allow a longer time for play. If interested, please contact Rob and Andrew at
